• Loan Documentation
• Ensures compliance with all OCC and Bank policies and procedures.
• Ensures the timely and efficient closing of all loan transactions.
• Ensures all documents are current and approved and staff is trained on their completion.
• May review loan packages.
• Supervises coordination with title company business and interacts with various title representatives.
• Disbursement
• Ensures all received draw requests are reviewed for proper documentation, approved and disbursed within the required timeframes.
• Ensures disbursement files are balanced to loan accounting records.
• Ensures compliance of all required controls and procedures.
• Insurance
• Ensures that the required insurance is obtained and maintained current for the loan portfolio.
• Administration
• Develops staffing plans based on overall staffing needs and job functions.
• Ensures that systems are adequate and makes recommendations for changes as needed.
• Prepares and delivers performance appraisals and makes recommendations for hires and terminations.
• Ensures training needs for colleagues are met.
• Reviews and ensures that the Department Policy and Procedures Manual is current for all areas.
• Administration

• Identifies and implement process improvements
• Manages the overall loan administration functions through managers and team leaders
• Obtains “satisfactory” audit results
• Coaches, trains, and develops colleagues
• Acts as a consultant to relationship managers in structuring transactions
• Maintains good working relationships internally and externally
• Participates in bank-wide initiatives as appropriate or as required
• Complies fully with all Bank, Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).
• Completes all required training.
• Maintains a proactive commitment to established Bank programs, such as the PRIDE principles and priorities, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Employment Opportunity

Must-Have*

• Minimum 10 years of experience in loan operations or administration
• Minimum 7 years of experience in loan production operations or administration for commercial, consumer and real estate secured loans
• Minimum 7 years of management experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Requires 10-15 years experience in real estate loan documentation in a commercial bank or other financial institution, including extensive experience in administering commercial, industrial and construction loans.
• Understanding of accounting, General Ledger entries and real estate terminology required.
• Experience managing loan administration and disbursement functions and personnel.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements on real estate loans.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
