We cordially invite NAIOP SoCal Members and friends to participate in our Annual Advocacy Trip to Sacramento from April 7-8, 2026.  

NAIOP SoCal continues to be the leading voice for commercial real estate in Southern California. This is a fantastic relationship-building opportunity for NAIOP SoCal Members early in the current legislative cycle. This year, NAIOP SoCal is pleased to co-sponsor a bill – AB 2418 – to streamline permitting and plan-checking processes for nonresidential projects. We are also fighting to stop AB 1777, which significantly expands the California Air Resources Board’s sweeping authority over indirect sources tied to heavily regulated sectors, including real property, roads, freeways and rail. 

To date, NAIOP SoCal Senior Government Relations Advisor, Adam Regele, has scheduled over a dozen meetings with SoCal-based state legislators and staff. 

Attendees will also get to participate in a Private, Exclusive Dinner with state legislators on the evening of Tuesday, April 7.   

We encourage NAIOP SoCal Members to fly to Sacramento on Tuesday morning, April 7 and return on the evening of Wednesday, April 8. 

There is no registration fee for 2026 NAIOP SoCal Gavel Sponsors to participate in the Advocacy Trip. If you are not a Gavel Sponsor, there is a $175 registration fee to participate. The fee will cover our Private Dinner as well as materials.
