NAIOP SoCal is the leading voice for commercial real estate in Southern California. On August 11-12, 2026 our Sacramento-based legislative partner, CBPA, will be organizing its annual 2026 CA Commercial Real Estate Summit. This is an excellent opportunity to build relations with state legislators and staff, educate them on legislative priorities, and advocate on key bills for NAIOP SoCal and our valued Members. Briefing packets will be prepared for all participating NAIOP SoCal Members.

Sacramento is critical in nurturing deeper relationships with influential lawmakers. It presents an opportunity to emphasize the contributions of commercial and industrial real estate to Southern California’s economy and quality of life, as highlighted in NAIOP SoCal’s recently-commissioned Industrial White Paper series, published by Pepperdine University and Beacon Economics. Your active participation during our bi-annual advocacy trips to Sacramento makes a real difference and bolsters our ability to engage with key policymakers. We strongly encourage your attendance!

The plan is to fly to Sacramento in the late morning on Tuesday, August 11, and return during the late afternoon on Wednesday, August 12. 

We will be organizing a private dinner with select legislators on Tuesday evening, August 11 at Ella Dining Room & Bar near the State Capitol.
