Southern California, CA (February 17, 2026) -- NAIOP SoCal, the leading organization for developers, owners and investors of office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate, has announced that Brett Dedeaux, Chief Executive and Managing Member of Dedeaux Properties, will be inducted into its Hall of Fame during the chapter’s 2026 Awards Gala. Under Dedeaux’s leadership, Dedeaux Properties has evolved to become the largest owner/operator of modern IOS and logistics properties in Southern California. Dedeaux owns and operates more than 14 million square feet of industrial real estate with over $1.3 billion of assets under management, spanning cold storage, distribution, transloading facilities, truck terminals, and industrial outdoor storage (IOS). Dedeaux strategically built the firm’s industrial portfolio recognizing a need for modernized logistics facilities, such as truck terminals and transloading facilities, which were being overlooked by the industry.
A graduate of USC, Dedeaux is an active industry and community leader, serving on the board of NAIOP Inland Empire chapter, executive board of the Randall R. Kendrick Global Supply Chain Institute (Kendrick GSCI), executive committee member to the USC Lusk Real Estate Center and a corporate member of SIOR. Dedeaux was also a member of the second NAIOP SoCal Young Professionals Group (YPG), the chapter’s industry-leading professional development and leadership program.
In addition, Dedeaux is the executive director of the Rod Dedeaux Foundation, which provides much needed funds for amateur and underserved youth baseball and softball programs across Los Angeles. The Foundation awards the USA Baseball Rod Dedeaux Coach of the Year Award in honor of his grandfather well-known for his success as an Olympic and Collegiate baseball coach winning 11 National Titles.
