For Immediate Release CREDA SoCal Celebrates 35 Years of Night at the Fights with More Than 1,000 Attendees Southern California, CA (October 12, 2026) – Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the annual CREDA SoCal Night at the Fights brought together more than 1,000 industry professionals for an immersive undersea-inspired evening of competition and camaraderie.
Held October 8 at the OC Fair & Event Center, this year’s black-tie gala featured three boxing matches with commercial real estate professionals including a first ever battle featuring two women. Guests were transported into the mythical underwater world of Atlantis, complete with elaborate ocean-inspired décor, mermaids, and immersive entertainment. Following the boxing matches, the celebration continued at Pirates Cove, an energetic after-party that brought the evening's nautical adventure to a memorable close.
For 2026, the boxing competition champions included: Jamie Lennox, Newland Capital Group, who won his battle against Kevin Lobao, Deacon Construction, LLC; Daria Walker, Walker Realty Capital, who defeated Lindsay Louie, Standard Real Estate Investments; and Chris Pacheco, Bask, who won against Tobias Kirkman, Ocean West Capital Partners. Commenting on her experience, Walker added, "Your greatest challenger will always be the person staring back at you in the mirror. Overcome your self-doubt, and you will be unstoppable. Never...EVER...give up." “What a night! We are so thankful for our industry pros who are willing to train for their moment in the ring. It was especially thrilling to see Daria and Lindsay join the event's first-ever women's boxing match. This year’s gala once again proved why Night at the Fights remains the best real estate networking event in Southern California. I applaud all of our fighters, the attendees and our loyal sponsors who helped us to create a truly magical evening of ocean delights and high-profile competitive entertainment,” said Night at the Fights Chair Andrew Robben, Newmark.
“It’s hard to believe Night at the Fights has been a hallmark event for CREDA for 35 years. That longevity demonstrates how much the industry appreciates the opportunity to gather with industry peers and friends. I want to thank our hard-working committee for bringing this year’s Atlantis themed vision to life,” said CREDA SoCal CEO Timothy Jemal. |
