NAIOP SoCal Appoints High-Impact Legislative Affairs Team to Drive Legislative Advocacy and Deliver Results

Adam Regele and Edmond Group Retained to Expand NAIOP SoCal’s Influence in Sacramento and Southern California

Southern California and Sacramento (January 15, 2026) – NAIOP SoCal, the leading commercial real estate association in Southern California, today announced the appointment of a powerhouse 2026 legislative affairs team, positioning the organization to build on recent wins and drive even stronger results for the commercial real estate industry in Southern California and Sacramento.

Long-time Sacramento lobbyist Adam Regele has been retained to lead state-level advocacy efforts, while The Edmond Group will assist with legislative activities across Southern California. NAIOP SoCal’s legislative affairs team will continue to be headed by CEO Tim Jemal, while Government Relations Manager Mihran Toumajan will remain in his full-time role.

Adam Regele brings deep subject-matter expertise and long-standing relationships throughout California’s political landscape. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Advocacy & Strategic Partnerships at the California Chamber of Commerce, where he helped lead government relations efforts for the state’s largest business organization.

The Edmond Group is led by CEO Susana Gonzalez Edmond and Managing Partner John Edmond, a highly respected team known for delivering results at the intersection of government, business, and community priorities. Susana brings more than 25 years of senior-level leadership experience across the public and private sectors, with recognized expertise in government relations, public affairs, infrastructure policy, and community engagement throughout Southern California. John, the firm’s founder, offers more than 25 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, regulatory strategy, land use approvals, and political campaigns.
