Position: Summer Intern
Department: MBK Industrial Properties (MIP)
Supervisor: Senior Vice President, Industrial Properties
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Summary: 

The Summer Intern will perform market research and analysis for specific tasks/activities in a project.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist in underwriting of wholly owned and joint venture development opportunities in MIP’s target markets.
• Review market report, perform research utilizing data platforms (CoStar, CBRE-EA etc.) to support underwriting assumptions.
• Assist in the preparation of investment committee packages, quarterly board packages and other formal submittals.
• Research new markets/sub-markets to support MIP’s expansion.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel.
• Class work in Economics, Finance, and Real Estate.

Minimum Job Requirements (Include education, experience, special skills, licenses, certifications): 

• Year experience – can be other internship experience.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree and currently a junior or senior. Or pursuing an MBA.

Physical Demands (Include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, walking, standing, sitting):

• Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, bending, kneeling, stooping,               pushing, pulling and repetitive motion.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time.
• Able to move intermittently throughout the workday and between divisions.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push up to 20lbs as necessary.
