Job Description:

This role’s primary function is to act as the link between the Invesco Real Estate investment professionals and Invesco (“IVZ”) client business and will be responsible for encouraging connectivity and communication between these two groups.  The individual will be responsible for coordinating the ongoing fundraising and marketing pipeline for the following institutional product lines: Invesco Core Real Estate (“ICRE”) and Invesco’s High Return Fund Series. The role requires the ability to work across several Invesco teams, as well as interface with external clients, to ensure a structured approach, globally. The position requires a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills. An ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and detail-oriented.\

Key Responsibilities / Duties: 

  • Work with the Head of North America Product Management in a product management and development function.
  • Support Client Portfolio Management (“CPM”) team and IVZ WMI distribution team to coordinate client/prospect outreach and material preparation for client pitches, presentations, and due diligence meetings.
  • Assist with the completion of client/consultant requested RFIs, DDQs, RFPs as well as ad hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Management and Presentations teams to update marketing collateral for the Funds on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Maintain prospect/investor information and marketing plan in order to set objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct competitive analyses in the real estate industry, researching competitor funds and strategies.
  • Communicate effectively across different groups including, but not limited to Portfolio Management, Client Portfolio Management, Legal, Research, Performance, etc. to ensure a successful fund.

Work Experience / Knowledge: 

  • At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Real Estate and Institutional background is preferred

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: 

  • Proactive self-starter mentality.
  • Exhibit eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Must work well both independently, and as a team member, and be able to manage time under tight deadlines.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint skills. 

Formal Education: 

Undergraduate degree

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, and temperatures.
  • Hours may include evenings or weekends.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

The salary range for this position in New York is $120,000 - $155,000 annually. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
