NAIOP SoCal’s Legislative Affairs Committee is pleased to invite Gavel Sponsors and Members to an Exclusive Lunch at Casa Moreno in Covina on Friday, June 26, 2026 (11:30 AM) featuring two distinguished Members of the California State Assembly and good friends of NAIOP SoCal:

The June 26 intimate lunch will provide NAIOP SoCal Gavel Sponsors and Members with a valuable opportunity to communicate directly with influential legislators on issues affecting commercial real estate, the resiliency of the supply chain, land-use and zoning concerns, and the broader business climate in Southern California.


Asm. Rubio represents the 48th Assembly District in the East San Gabriel Valley and serves as Chair of the Assembly Governmental Organization Committee, as well as Chair of the New Democratic Caucus. Asm. González represents the 54th Assembly District. He is the author of AB 2418, the California Nonresidential Private Permitting Review Act. Co-sponsored by NAIOP SoCal, AB 2418 recently advanced through the Assembly with near-unanimous support, underscoring a growing bipartisan recognition that California’s nonresidential permitting and plan check processes must become more timely, predictable, and transparent.


There is no additional charge for 2026 NAIOP SoCal Gavel Sponsors, but registration is required. Limit two tickets per Gavel Sponsor.


If your company is not a 2026 Gavel Sponsor, please consider becoming one. For non-Gavel Sponsors who are NAIOP SoCal Members, lunch tickets are $125 per person. For Non-Members, lunch tickets are $175 per person.


The deadline to register is the close of business on Monday, June 22, 2026.
